Let's Talk Cruising

Updated: Jun 9

There are so many types of cruises available, so many different cruise ships and companies. So many destinations. Each cruise has their own special programs and packages put together. The question is, what do you want or look for in a cruise? Is the destination the most important factor, or the cabin? The food, the entertainment or the fitness and spa? The extras included or the price?

The other thing to consider is whether you want to go on a large cruise ship or a smaller river boat cruise. There are lots of river boat cruises available throughout Europe, with land excursions available at each port. It's an excellent opportunity to explore towns, villages, local markets, art galleries or museums, and to immerse yourself in the local history and culture. Riverboat cruises are smaller ships with about 100 passengers, more suitable for people who want a more intimate experience but still enjoy the cruising experience.

For the more mature travellers, there are cruises available that are adult only. Both the large cruise lines and the river boat cruise lines offer adult only cruises to choose from. So the question is, what are you looking for in a cruise?
